ChronoOps + multilingual tours of sustainability projects at Portland State University

We designed mobile augmented reality (AR) activities focusing on sustainability and academic and language specific content in order to create highly contextualized place-based learning activities. Our deliverables include the following: • Created Spanish language mobile AR game for use in WLL courses. • Created English/ESL language mobile AR game for use in IELP courses. • Created Japanese language mobile AR game for use in WLL courses. • Created French language mobile AR game for use in WLL courses. • Created Russian language mobile AR game for use in WLL and Russian Flagship courses. • Created mobile augmented reality tours of Portland State University sustainability projects in three languages: English, French, Japanese, and Spanish (with Russian and additional languages to be added). • Collaboratively created with the University Welcome Center a mobile augmented reality general tour of Portland State University campus in English and French (additional languages, notably Spanish and Russian, will be added as part of our continuing efforts).
